Anonymous asked: Can you explain why is the d3 better than like the d300 and then the d3000?

It’s just how Nikon decides to name things. You can’t really know if a camera is better than the other within nikons unless you just look at the prices and release date. But you can USUALLY assume that a D_ is the top line. And for the 2,3, and 4 digit numbers. The trick is a number above 7 is a nicer camera. The d40-60 for instance were amerature cameras. But 70-90 are semi professionals. The D100-300 are semi professionals but the d700-800 are professional. It’s confusing yeah but hey I tried to explain it
